Product Description
The hjLabs Automatic Wire & Cable Cutting and Stripping Machine is the complete solution for wire harness manufacturing, replacing two separate machines and two operators with a single automated station.
In one pass, the machine measures and cuts wire to the programmed length (10 mm to 9999 mm) and simultaneously strips insulation from both the leading and trailing ends. Both-end stripping length is independently programmable between 1 mm and 50 mm per end — ideal for wires that need different terminal types at each end.
The machine handles a wide range of insulated cable types: PVC (the most common in automotive and industrial wiring), XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene for high-temperature applications), and silicone insulation used in medical and high-flex applications. Partial strip (scoring without full removal) is also supported for push-in connectors.
At up to 300 wires per minute, a single shift produces enough cut-and-stripped wire for most medium-volume wire harness operations. The digital controller allows batch programming and production count tracking. For high-volume or bespoke requirements, see our custom automation solutions.
